Information we process
For hosted accounts, we process account identifiers, workspace configuration, machine identifiers, findings and audit records, integration metadata, billing entitlement status, audit/security events, and telemetry a customer explicitly sends to the service. Integration secrets are encrypted at rest and are not returned by the API after storage.
Public scans
A public scan requests public website resources such as HTML, robots directives, sitemaps, structured data, public protocol manifests, and other publicly accessible endpoints. It does not authorize access to private systems.
Connected systems and telemetry
Authorized integrations may process customer-authorized provider data, private endpoints, logs, API events, or journey evidence. Customers control which integrations are enabled and may disable monitoring or integrations.
Desktop guard and browser extension
The AI Agent Sync guard — the desktop hooks and the browser extension — runs entirely on your own computer. It requires no account, and there is no server component operated by BTS Innovations LLC involved in its operation.
What the browser extension reads. On the AI chat sites it is installed for, it reads the visible text of the conversation on the page. It does this so the detection engine can examine the assistant’s replies for claims made without grounding, repetition, stalling and injected instructions.
Where that text goes. To 127.0.0.1 — the loopback address of your own machine — and nowhere else. The extension holds no credentials, contacts no external server, and requests no Chrome permissions beyond access to that local address. Conversation text is analysed in memory and is not written to disk.
What is written down. Only the findings, not the conversation: a timestamped line such as “2× overconfidence” in ~/.ai-agent-sync/alerts.log, and, when the extension can no longer read a site it supports, a note in ~/.ai-agent-sync/health.log. Both files are yours, on your machine, and you may delete them at any time.
What is never sent to us. Your conversations, your prompts, your files, your code, and the findings themselves. The guard does not phone home, and it does not require a network connection to work.
Removing it. Uninstall the extension from your browser, and restore the settings backup the installer made in ~/.claude/. Deleting the ~/.ai-agent-sync folder removes the engine and both logs.
Third-party processors
The hosted service may use infrastructure, payment, transactional-email, and AI providers configured by BTS Innovations LLC. Provider processing is limited to the function being performed. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider rather than stored by AI Agent Sync.
Retention and deletion
Workspace retention controls govern supported audit, telemetry, security, journey, and outcome data. Customers may request account or hosted-workspace deletion through Support. Customer-controlled deployments retain data within the customer's configured infrastructure.
Security
We use encrypted transport, hashed passwords and session tokens, encrypted integration secrets, role-based access controls, deterministic authorization for governed actions, and independent verification evidence. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
